Daniel had the pleasure to view the Bethesda Chapel in Stoke, which is slowly being restored back to its original 18th century condition. Daniel also seen the recently opened “Bethesda Our Boys” WW1 exhibition which will now be displayed for the next few years. The Chapel has a long history and is slowly being restored back to its former glory by the Historic Chapels Trust.
“The restoration which has already happened at the Chapel is quite spectacular and I was delighted to see it for myself with the fantastic local champion, Councillor Abi Brown who has worked hard to campaign for the preservation of the City’s local heritage. This was once one of the grandest local chapels across the country, and now is home to some fine local exhibitions, including the memorial to all those who lost their lives in World War 1.”
